October 15, 2020: Our October meeting featuring Eric Drexler from Sulky will take place on Zoom.
Plans have been made to continue meeting virtually through the fall with the hopes of restarting in-person meetings in February 2021. Zoom links are sent out one or two days prior to the meeting to members and paying guests. Please click here to see how to attend as a guest.
Illinois is currently in Phase 4 of the COVID-19 recovery plan.
Welcome to NSQG!
Join us for our monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month (except December) at 7PM at Rolling Meadows Community Center (3705 Pheasant Drive). (Please see our alternate plans elsewhere on this page during the COVID-19.) Click here for map and directions.
Directory is Almost Ready
Our 2020-2021 directory is almost ready! With COVID-19 restrictions, this year we will be mailing a copy directly to our members’ homes.
You should receive them before the October 15 meeting. If you don’t have your directory by then, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you join after September 20, you will be included in an addendum we will publish in early 2021.
October is Eric Drexler, Sulky
We’re in the fall! And this month we welcome Eric Drexler from Sulky. He will present his lecture, “Thread Jazz and Embellishing”, plus “Needle and Thread Know-How”. We will be virtual again this month, so join us on Zoom for all of the actio!
Zoom links are sent to members a day or two prior to the meeting, and we’re excited to announce that we are now accepting guests! Click here for more information about how to attend as a guest.
Eric is doing two workshops for us on Friday and Saturday. Go to our program page to see and sign up!

We are once again postponing our retreat registration (normally September 1). With little progress against the pandemic since our last opportunity, we want to keep the health and safety of our members uppermost in our minds. Stay tuned to the website for updates as we move into the fall.
