How are you doing on your Quilt Show Challenge quilt? It’s January so it’s time to send out a reminder that we only have a few more months to complete our entries.
If you are competing in the challenge be sure to complete a Quilt Show Entry form (due in March) but DON’T send a picture with your entry (it needs to be a blind vote) – we’ll catch up with photos of the entries on the day of the challenge voting.
Below is our original post:
The official quilt show challenge for our 2023 show, The Art of Hope, has been set. This one is led by our faithful friend, Joyce Drenth.
She has chosen Faces of Hope, based on a tutorial by Alex Anderson. This six-session tutorial will help you create an avatar–a facial representation–like the one she did in the picture at left.
The turn-in and judging will occur at our April Guild Meeting on April 20th, 2023, so there’s lots of time to get started!
Please use the buttons below to print the Challenge Instructions and the Guild Challenge Entry Form.
But Don’t Forget! Because our Quilt Show will be in May of 2023, if you’d like to enter your challenge quilt into the show please be sure to complete a Quilt Show entry form (due in March).
