
Coming to NSQG August 17th, 2023 is award winning quilter Cheryl See. Cheryl began quilting in 1993 and is best known for her intricate handwork and detailing. Cheryl received the award for Best Hand Quilting in the Large Quilt category for her quilt ‘Star Struck’ at the American Quilter’s Society show in Paducah, Kentucky in 2012 and is now in the permanent collection of the National Quilt Museum in Paducah.
Cheryl will be presenting her lecture Quilter Curiosities – a Q&A with A Professional Quilter. Have you ever been curious about what happens behind the scenes in competition, filming and the business of quilting? Cheryl will answer all your curious questions on these topics! Cheryl, as part of her lecture will also have with her some of her amazing quilts.
We will be meeting at the Rolling Meadows Community Center (3705 Pheasant Drive, Rolling Meadows, Illinois) with doors open at open at 6:30pm.
On Friday August 18th, 2023, be sure to join Cheryl as we host TWO workshops with her. Those workshops will be located at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights. You can sign-up for these workshops on our website at NSQG.club and they are open to both members and non-members alike!
