This week we welcome Edrene Heiss to the Northwest Suburban Quilters Guild. Edrene has been known for her Kaleidoscope quilts and this Thursday she’ll present her lecture “My Kaleidoscope Journey.” You will be amazed at what Edrene creates with the simplest sewing skills!
We will be meeting in person at the Rolling Meadows Community Center.

We have openings in Edrene’s workshop on Friday if you are interested. On Friday September 19th at the Palatine Library you can make a lovely kaleidoscopic fan wall hanging. Come and explore Edrene’s collection of bilaterally symmetric fabrics to create unique fan shapes for your art pieces. Supply list is small – your kit price is included in workshop fee. Quilt Top Silent Auction
At Thursday’s meeting, we’ll have a silent auction of quilt tops donated by the family of Margaret Ora Woorley Whitaker Osborne. They are estimated to be made between 1920 and 1944.
