We are excited to have Catherine Redford back at NSQG this Thursday May 21st as she presents her lecture “Lessons Learned While Quilting.”
Catherine is known for being an engaging speaker with a vast knowledge of this craft. She’s a storyteller so there’s always something new to learn from Catherine!

Quilts of Valor String Block Reminder!
Don’t forget to bring your QOV String Block this month! Karen will announce how many blocks were made and we’ll schedule a time to get together to turn the blocks into quilts. The quilts will be donated to Quilts of Valor.

Elections!
The May meeting is our guilds Annual Meeting and an important item of business this month is our election of Officers for the 2026-2027 guild year. The Nominating Committee has presented a slate for the elected positions:

Raffle Quilt Reveal!
As an added bonus for the meeting, our Quilt Show Raffle Quilt Committee will be unveiling the raffle quilt. Ticket envelopes will be available to take home as well as a travel schedule for you to sign-up to help sell tickets and promote our 2027 Sew Happy Together Quilt Show! The reveal is always an exciting moment for all involved in the making of the quilt and we thank all of them in advance for their outstanding work!
Quilt Top Silent Auction Postponed – Again!
We have to apologize for this one. We previously announced we would have another Quilt Top Silent Auction last month but it did not happen last minute. This month we decided to postpone the auction again until the June meeting. We have a lot happening this Thursday and we want to give these quilt tops a chance to be seen before the auction. Please keep this on your radar!
