May 21 Meeting - Virtually!
As our stay at home order stretches into May, we’re all learning new skills, and a lot of those are online. The guild acquired a license for Zoom, and your board used it to meet to conduct business in April. We have contacted our speakers for May and June and we’re excited to announce that they’re going to work with us to try to have online meetings! Either way, your board is determined to provide value for your membership dues, even during this time of extreme change. We will have programming for you, even if it isn’t quite “business as usual.”
If you haven’t used Zoom, it’s free! You can download the software for your computer at zoom.us, or get the app for your phone from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Zoom has lots of great online tutorials.
We will also have Zoom “office hours” on Wednesday, May 13 from 6:30 to 8PM, and Saturday, May 16 from 4 to 5 pm. Watch for an email from our president on how to join one of these practice sessions and our meeting at 7pm on Thursday, May 21.
This value is for our members only. If you’re not a member, dues are half price through June. It’s a perfect time to try it out and see what we’re all about! And stay tuned this month for more details!
