Welcome to the Northwest Suburban Quilters Guild! Based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, we are a not-for-profit organization made up of creative people who share a deep love and appreciation for the art of quilting. Whether you are an experienced quilt artist or just picking up a needle for the first time, we are here to inspire your creativity, build your skills, and celebrate quilting in all its beautiful forms.
Our Guild’s mission is to foster the art of quilting and to encourage a high standard of design and technique in all of quilting’s various forms.
We love staying connected and learning together through inspiring monthly programs, hands-on workshops, and our active newsletters and social media. We also throw some pretty fantastic special events, including our cozy Winter Picnic, Camp Quilt-I-Wanna, weekend retreats, and our beautiful Biennial Quilt Show!
Come Join the Fun! We would love to have you drop by for a meeting! We meet on the third Thursday of every month (except December) at 7:00 PM CST.
- In-Person Meetings: Held at the Rolling Meadows Community Center (3705 Pheasant Drive, Rolling Meadows, IL). Doors open at 6:30 PM (CST) so you can settle in and chat.
- Winter Meetings: During the chilly winter months, we occasionally gather online via Zoom to stay warm at home (please note we don’t offer hybrid/combined meetings at this time). Zoom rooms open at 6:45 PM CST.
Meeting Details: Members always attend for free! Guests are welcome to join us for up to two meetings per guild year (July 1st – June 30th). Guest admission is $10 when we feature a guest speaker, and $5 for other meeting nights.
We can’t wait to meet you and see what you’re working on!
