We ALL talk about reducing our stash, so Mary-Jeanine’s lecture Stashbuster should be music to our ears!! We’ll hear what she has to say on Thursday, June 16, 2016
On Friday, June 17 at the Rolling Meadows Library, Mary-Jeanine will present her Machine Quilting workshop. In this free-motion class, she will discuss batting, needles, thread, basting methods and troubleshooting. She’ll help plan possible quilting patterns for a quilt top you may bring. Mary-Jeanine has lots of information to share with us in all aspects of machine quilting. You will go home with many tips and techniques!

On Saturday, June 18, once again at the Rolling Meadows Library, we offer you Mary-Jeanine’s Quilt-as-you-go Rose workshop. You’ll make a beautiful pink rose using the ‘stitch-n-flip’ foundation method. This 18″ square can then be used to complete a pillow, tote bag or a wall hanging. If you haven’t ever learned how to quilt as you go, this workshop will demonstrate that method and will please beginners and experienced quilters alike. You will be sharing pink and coral fabrics with your classmates to create a larger color palette for your own rose. This should be a terrific workshop to end our 2015-2016 NSQG year!
