Sharron Evans – Machine Applique the Easy Way
Sharron has been involved in the Chicago area quilting community for more than thirty years. She is a quilter, a past quilt shop owner and instructor. Sharron will teach us how to use our machines to create invisible applique that will fool the most critical eye. When you learn Sharron’s technique, your friends will ask you, “When did you learn to hand applique so beautifully?” Sharron has the reputation of being a terrific teacher. Don’t miss this class.

Marla Marlagewski – Chicago Cityscape
What a beautiful wall hanging to honor our amazing city, Chicago. Marla has created her vision of Chicago’s distinctive and beautiful skyline. She will teach us how she has transformed her vision into this piece of art. She promises that each wall hanging will reflect the maker’s taste and personality. No two will be the same.
Marla is offering a kit for $25. However, you don’t need to buy the kit. Look at the supply list to decide if you want to use your own fat quarters and scraps. Be sure to bring scraps to share. Swapping scraps will be fun.
What a wonderful piece to give as a gift for newlyweds, grandkids, or life-long Chicago area residents.
