New Year Programs

Zoom along with us to find out more about our exciting new program lineup. We’ll be virtual for 2021, but hope to begin meeting together again in 2022 as speakers return to live presentations and venues begin to reopen. Members will get a Zoom invitation a few days before the meeting. Not a member but interested in attending? Attend for free by contacting membership@nsqg.club.

August:
Carl Hentsch

Carl Hentsch owns 3 Dog Design Company. (He does have more than three now!) His fresh approach to color and design will inspire you. He will be here via Zoom for a lecture and two workshops. 

September:
Kathy McNeil

Kathy is an accomplished quilter with beautiful landscape and art quilts her specialty. Join us for her lecture, and a workshop where she will teach her Apliquick technique that will save you time and make applique a breeze . 

October:
David Owen Hastings

David is a past president of the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild, Designer and Artist.  His lecture is Exploring Nature with Paper and Stitch, and will also be doing a workshop.

 

November:
Lilo Bowman

Lilo bring us Love Where You Create: It’s Not A One-Size Fits All Solution.

We hold no workshops in November so you can spend time with your families.

January:
Claudia Squio

 Claudia Squio of Colorway Arts is bringing us a new fabric craft–cartonnage! Join her for an exciting lecture and two workshops in January

February:
Lynn Schmitt

Lynn will join us in February for a long-anticipated presentation on using fabrics other than quilting cotton in your quilts. She’ll present at our regular meeting and then have a Saturday workshop.

March:
Deanne Eisenman

Deanne will come to our regular meeting to help us understand what to do with all those scraps! Then she will present two workshops on Friday and Saturday.

April:
Rebecca Lidstrom

Rebecca brings her “One Block Many Ways” book and lecture to us in April, with a Saturday workshop on one of her latest patterns.

May:
Heather Kojan

Heather Kojan will help us get better at Quilt Math in her lecture, and brings us a workshop on Saturday.

June:
Alice Ridge

Alice will bring us a trunk show of Quilts Around the World, and two workshops on some unique techniques.
